- L'evoluzione della cartografia della zona del Cervino e del Monte Rosa trova il suo compimento in questa carta che riassume con chiarezza, offrendo la possibilità di un uso pratico, i dati raccolti dai precedenti autori, integrati dai risultati delle ricerche dello stesso Adams Reilly. Particolare cura è stata data agli itinerari dei colli e alcune montagne, che erano anonime sulle carte precedenti, qui vengono nominate, ad esempio, il Polluce e il Castore e appare per la prima volta il "Gioament" alla testata della Valtournanche.
